Poem: Secrets of the Tomb

Secrets of the Tomb

You see the color,
the bright vibrant color,
a portrait of strength,
joy
and life.

You see the recitation
of victories,
public and truthful,

the litany of accomplishments
and joy, all
a mask, hiding
the painful darkness
of the your living tomb,

the dark place
where you live and work,
where silently, and all too solitary,
you struggle and reach,
sure of a Resurrection
from this death to life, yet
somehow, unable to find it, acting

not in knowledge,
but faith.
