Struggle

You wait at the doorway.
There is light on the other side
but you cannot reach it,
each step

taking you further away.

The photograph was taken at Rupert Methodist Church, a beautiful and worshipful little church in the next town that I often attend. (Some weeks I am Baptist, some weeks I am Methodist.)
