Dare to live in the light,
where each color, flaw,
and wonderful imperfection

can no longer hide,
and have no choice
but to dance,

not for the audience

The picture is no piece of art. It’s a corner of what I call my project room in the house, a converted old kitchen that serves as workshop, filing cabinet, and where I photography my art for sale.

Learning to photograph art is new to me, and selling it is… well… a challenge. The temptation is to create “what sells”. But for me, the spirit behind the art to paint is to create color poems instead of landscapes, portraits and still life.

So perhaps fame and fortune as an artist is not in my future, but we are always better to admit who we are, and embrace it, and the mere act of embracing ourselves sets us free.
