a creature of rants and uncommon tears,

I’ve been a journaler for a long time. Today, I use a mix of hand written journals, like the  one in the photograph, and software, which allows me to do a lot of things that I can’t do in a paper journal. In my case, I use LifeJournal 3, about whom I am a bit evangelistic!
