A thing saved,
reclaimed from the rubbish heap,
and lovingly restored,

though far from perfect,
is something more –
precious.

About the poem

The poem comes from my bible reading this morning. It really doesn’t matter which verse in particular, because in a way, this is one of the messages of the whole book.
