Poem: Libraries and Love

Shelburne library

Libraries and Love

Ah the days! The nights!
The sharing of more than words,
more than touch, soul sharing
of heartbreaks and heat,
of stories, more numerous than Arabian Nights,
layers without end,
dancing and discoveries
and the promise that there is always
more.

About this poem.

I love libraries, and often, when I am in an old home, it’s my favorite place to take pictures. This morning I thought of them in a different context, And voila!

The picture was taken at the Shelburne Museum in VT.
