Snow Lessons
The snow falls, each icy crystal gently tapping
the next as it falls, an almost quiet dance,
beautiful as it covers the dirt and wear
of God’s earth,
making even the scars beautiful.
quieting the raucous world,
imposing it’s silence
gently.
About this poem.
We live in a world where everything and everyone seems to clamor for attention. But maybe the snow has it right. Tiny steps. Quiet steps. Then suddenly, beauty.
The picture was taken just down the street in West Pawlet, VT.
