Poem: Taking Pictures

museum 13

 Taking Pictures

Every picture you take is imperfect,
never quite capturing every detail,
every nuance of what you see and feel,
and so, you settle,
knowing that instead you must find
the unspeakable essence,
that thing not quite seen,
the spirit of the thing,
not the image itself. all of which means
sometimes the most flawed photograph
is the most perfect.

About this poem

True in photographs, art, poetry…… life.
