Psalm 91:5
You have lived in fear
far too long,
ground down by it,
buffeted and torn
by the storms around you,
the battles and wars
not of your making
that threaten to consume you,
paralyzed by
fears both real and imagined
until you were cast aside
and finally realized
you were eternal
and could survive anything
as long as you chose the right rock
to stand on.
About this poem
Psalm 91:5, from my devotions today, reads “You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,”
Have a blessed day my friends.
