Dancing in the Ruins
Come, let us dance among the ruins
of who we were, and all that was lost.
Let us dance upon the stones of our soul,
of what remains, and the foundations that anticipate.
Let us create ballrooms and galleries, cathedrals
halls full of music, passion and mystical love.
Let us celebrate the mystery
that brought us together,
A chemical romance
waiting for the fire.
About this poem.
This began as a sad poem, and turned into a love poem. Strange. But at times, that is how love works.
The picture was taken in Harpers Ferry, WV.
