Half-Truths and Lies
A single stone
thrown into the water,
distorts everything
until there are no more stones,
and the water settles
and true colors show themselves
once again.
About this poem
Right now, several people I care about are suffering at the hands of half truths, sometimes by people who know better, and sometimes from people who should.
What I want to do is lash out. What I’ve done instead is write this poem. It will have to do, for now.
