Foolish, courageous, cowardly,
! have no idea
of the danger’s truth
until I step past the sign

About this poem

I saw this sign while visiting the Mark Twain House in Hartford, Connecticut. As my kids are fond of saying when they see me take pictures of odd things. “There’s a poem in that one.” They are generally right.
