Poem: Dolls Don’t Have Birthdays

Dolls Don’t Have Birthdays

Dolls don’t have birthdays.
Their beauty never fades.
The remain young
while the rest of us age.

Perhaps it is love that makes them so.
The love showered on them
and the love they reflect.
Even broken, they are eternal.

About this poem

The woman I love has a birthday today. She is remarkably young.
