Poem: Cheap Cures

IMG_0451.JPG

Cheap Cures

A quarter is a small price to pay
to see, a cheap cure

for the blindness of your one working eye.

for the chance to see through a new lens

and for a short time
put aside what you see each day
and see
something new.

About this poem.

I am blind in one eye. That is the least of my blind spots.
