Poem: Space

Space

You are captivated,
less by art than space,
by the interplay of light and emptiness,
of shadow and empty territory,

A model of the life you seek,
beauty, and art,
activity and conversations, and room
for more.

About this poem.

The photograph was taken at Mass MoCA, a museum I go to more for the spaces (It is in an old factory building) than the art.

The poem is more about leaving space in our lives for the magic to happen than art and museums.

Have a glorious weekend.

Tom
