Poem: A Hole in the Wall

A Hole in the Wall

A hole in the wall, rough, hand-hewn,
large enough for the light to come in
and for you to climb out. Each of us
seeking what we do not have.

About this poem

About human nature. About the flow of light and dark in our lives. Poetry is never about one thing.

The photograph was taken in an abandoned factory in Newe Hapmshire.
