Poem: A Change of Season

A Change of Season

You feel it in the wind,
a coldness,
an abandonment.

Warmth teasing you
like a child playing peekaboo,
there and not there,

the morning sunlight suddenly cold,
the lush green slowly feeling,
colors turning crisp and then,

day by day, brown.

About this poem.

Seasons. Life in general. Things change. A simple thing. Yes so complex
