Poem: Dreams and Matches

Dreams and Matches

In winter, you dream of flowers,
bright and yellow, spread across fields,
in summer wind. The land, you,
no longer dried up, but lush with light and love,
rich with inspiration to battle darkness
like the broken warrior you are,
perpetually lighting fires.
This is how you fight the darkness,
with dreams and matches.

About this morning.

Just beating back some darkness this morning. Nothing else here. ,

Lighting a match or two.
