Sometimes
Sometimes,
things go completely,
terribly, horribly
wrong,
wretched beyond all recognition,
and yet somehow,
miraculously
(for there is no other excuse)
ends up
perfect.
About this poem
This picture is a beautiful failure. I was photographing a light in a distant field and had the wrong setting on the camera. Suddenly I realized it was taking a time exposure, not a regular shot. So, for fun, I waved the camera around and around, Spirograph style.
I liked the results so much, that I ended up taking several like this, playing with the effect and the color lights I shot.
Life is like that sometimes. Everything goes wrong, and yet, somehow, God turns our disasters into something wonderful and blessed. That’s part of why he’s God, and we’re not.
Tom

Your words will become a prayer…only God can make perfect from this mess. Stay tuned.
I will stay tuned and stay praying, Joan
