And so
And so, when the prayers have been answered,
and the end has been postponed,
when color returns, sure as spring,
When there are new hands to be held,
and a world to rearrange anew,
when the journey takes a new turn
and fresh horizons show themselves
unexpected as a summer squall,
stop.
Stop and savor.
There is no need to hurry,
afraid that this is the last chapter.
Bask in it. Give thanks.
Make love to each moment,
again, and again,
and again.
About this poem.
Every twist and turn is a second chance. I didn’t used to understand that. But even dense people like get the lessons eventually.
