Poem: Purity

Purity

I want my colors bright.
Pure.
Undiluted. Unmixed.

Joy that is joy.
Love that is love.
No pollution.
No hedging.
No “But’s”.

Nothing but color
and light.

About this poem.

I hate mixed emotions. And yet here I am, living in the age of them. Maybe that is why I paint in pure colors.

  1. Too much mixing does “muddy the water” and colors. I know, I’ve overmixed emotions and paints! – still some blending must be part of the Divine Intention since 3 of the colors, my favorites actually, on the “wheel” are mixtures. Holding space for you in these times of ever shifting balance points.
