Poem: An Uncertainty

An Uncertainty

And when the ropes come off
and are shuffled off to the corner
and you are suddenly free,

there is a sudden panic,
an uncertainty. What, you ask yourself,
do I do now?

About this poem.

I won’t go into the long train of thought that led to this poem, but I suspect it is a place many of us have been.
