No Such Thing
Almost rain outside. Grey.
Dark, but not dark enough
there is a need for the lamps to be lit.
You light them anyway.
Darkness comes quickly,
and there is never too much light.
About this poem
Inspired by the almost rainy day we are having here in Southern Vermont. About weather. About goodness, kindness and generosity in an angry, too-often ugly world.
The picture was taken in Italy.
