The picture was a little out of kilter, not quite straight.

Not uncommon for me. I seem to be incapable of capturing a horizon or line straight on. I have become accustomed to this quirk of my photography, easily fixed in software, one of the few changes I make in my images.

But for some reason, this one, when I straightened it out, looked off. A few small degrees of change took it from interesting to bland.

Perhaps there is a lesson there. Sometimes things are out of kilter for a reason and we need to just let it be.
