Poem: Date Night

Date Night

Give me a corner away from the crowd.
A quiet corner, next to a window.
Good light. The better to see you by,
happily ignoring the world,
in exchange for you, for us.
a brief return
to the magic.

About this poem

Isn’t this why we do date nights?

The picture was taken at the cafe at Mass MoCA.
