Poem: Enough Perhaps

Enough Perhaps

A sconce on the wall.
Antiques with checkered wiring.
Dim bulbs. Low wattage for safety. Not enough
to light the room,
but enough perhaps,
to show the way.

About this poem.

A poem about lighting. A poem about life faith, about me as I age. Poetry is never about one thing.

The picture was taken at “The Mount”, Edith Wharton’s home in Mass.
