A Bit of a Romantic

You are bit of a romantic,
seeing all you survey in a different light,
advantageous to be sure,
Brighter colors. Grace where there may be less than you see.
Perfect curves. Perfect kisses. Perfect light.
hope and belief in hope,
making your world a bit more beautiful
and more susceptable to the darkness
of the truth once it breaks through.

About this poem

I do see differently than most people. Feel differently. I am not sure if the rose colored glasses are good or bad, but whichever they are, I have accepted what I am. Even if it crashes around me every now and again, it is not a bad way to live.

I wish I could remember where I took the picture.
