Poem: A Few Less Needs

A Few Less Needs

It is a utilitarian space, with it’s own grace,
not buit on beauty, but usefulness,
everything in reach, a place for everthing
that matters.

It is a small space, so there are decisions
to be made, choices about what matters
and what does not. THey are not, for the most part
hard decisions

Once you decide you do not need everything.

About this poem

About offices. About life.

The picture was taken at the Shelburne Museum in Shelburne, VT.

  1. My stuff represents bits of my life that were good which makes me feel I would be throwing away the good timmes. Daft, I know but it makes me anxious so I shove the drawer closed again…
