Spring Comes
Spring comes.
Never mind news
and headlines
and politics
and fear
and the slow falling apart,
the loneliness and hunger
for faith,
or the late April snow,
the wall of uncertainty,
the press and the internet,
the rumors shouting like out of tune trumpets,
and the worms of our own minds left untended.
Never mind the noise.
Spring comes.
And each season,
we choose what to plant,
and what we will reap.
