Two Equals One
Seen from a distance, the two paths converge.
You have traveled them both.
The one from the right is an easy stroll,
mostly level across open fields,
The other, rising from the left, cuts through hills
and briars and leaves you breathless at the end.
You have traveled them both, and know, now
eventually they converge
and find their way
to the same place.
About this poem.
The picture was taken at a nearby state park. I really have taken both paths.
Poem inspired by todays’ sermon, about the many ways we come to holiness. But it could be about the many ways we come to…. anything.
Be well, Travel wisely,
Tom
