Allowing the Silence
The light falls.
Dusk.
The landscape grows quiet.
You sit. Your mind anything but
quiet.
What is natural to the world around you
is work for you,
to empty out the noise,
to allow the silence
and rest.
About this poem.
Sometimes, we think too much.
The picture was taken in the quarry across from my house.

Excellent reminder, Tom! Thanks for the words and the photo.
