Poem: A Bit of Blur

A Bit of Blur

Sometimes the blur captures you perfectly,
too much feeling, a little overwhelmed,
your limitations, too evident
for the roles in life that have chosen you.
A man half-wise, half-blind,
And finally, late in life,
comfortable with both.

About this poem

I never throw out a photograph, not even blurred ones. Sometimes they carry their own truth.
