A Question…..

Here’s a question I would like to pose to my readers. I know that like me, many of you are writers, photographers, artists and (Fill in your day job here).

Considering that, how well (and how much) do you live your personal life, your work life, your faith life and your creative life as a single, unified whole? And how do you do it?

Tom

PS – the picture is one I took at the Washington County Antique Fair in Greenwich, NY this weekend.

  1. I ask myself this question – every now and then… probably not as often as I might. And so, the answer is: it’s a gradual shift. Would that it was otherwise, but I seek to grant myself the grace to allow that to be what it is. I won’t get there any sooner by throwing stumbling blocks into my own path.

  2. The answer to your question is complex and I don’t know where I would start. What I do know is that if the day had 48 hours in it, I might get everything done I would like to do! I make most of my income from design consultancy, so it has to take precedence over making art, just to pay the bills. Overall I think my personal and artistic/work lives are completely entwined.
